Touma basically turned red at Kusuo’s question. His eyes widen and his lips thinned when he locked eyes with Kusuo, his whole body getting a different kind of reaction to that offer. Shit, this is so confusing. Touma actually forgot that Kusuo can read minds— how foolish of him to let it slip his mind.

Is this how Touma finds out that Kusuo can be seductive and flirty when he wants to? Touma shouldn’t have doubted him. He kinda thought Kusuo has no game considering that Kusuo is always so quiet and indifferent. Then again, a psychic like him must have heard and seen a lot of things.

Summary
Typically, each repeat of Saiki’s junior year is uneventful, but sometimes, there’s an unexpected outcome, shifting the typical course of events. When Saiki decides to “help” Toritsuka’s band for the cultural festival, he expects it to fail as it usually does, but instead, it flourishes. Toritsuka, who was before seen as incel trash, is now insanely popular among the student body almost overnight. But with Toritsuka’s shitty personality and lack of experience, he fumbles every girl that comes his way.
Ever since the show, Saiki has had to confront his own confusing feelings, and they are only heightened by Toritsuka suggesting they practice together. Quickly, the lines of platonic and romantic intimacy are blurred, the tension between them thickens, and their friendship becomes homoerotic. With both of them socially stunted by their psychic powers, it wasn't long before the relationship became codependent and toxic.
This could end in one of two ways: either they confront their inner feelings and a relationship blossoms, or it ends catastrophically, leaving them both emotionally damaged, frustrated, and unsatisfied.
