Summary
Esposito had to leave the room, not wanting to crack in front of the suspect, his usually stoic facade beginning to waver after two days of incessant searching and false leads. Ryan followed him to the observation room, uncharacteristically quiet, just sort of standing there with a faraway look on his face.
“Okay”, Esposito huffed after a minute, rubbing his hands down his face, “Okay, let’s just try a different strategy. We have to make him talk. We have to”.
But as Esposito started turning to walk back in, Ryan’s hand shot out and grabbed his upper arm, stopping him in his tracks. The grip was tight, the gesture loaded.
Still looking at a vague point near Esposito’s shoulder, Ryan finally spoke:
“Give me five minutes with him”.

Summary
“You’re going to let me inside, and you’re going to help me,” Klaus says, and Allison tosses her head back and laughs.
“Why?” She sneers, a cold smile fixed on her face, eyes cruel and unafraid. “Why would I ever do that?”
“Because,” Klaus says with a smile. It’s not a very nice smile. He can feel the cool blue of his power light up his eyes, dance across his fingertip, caress his forearms, burn through his veins. He isn’t sure what he looks like right now, but the color drains from Allison’s face and her smile fades into nothingness.
“Because I can take everything you stole for yourself and tear it to pieces.”
Allison’s hands shake when she pushes the door open, and Klaus steps inside.

Yeah, Klaus hadn’t been ready for the big reveal, so to speak. Klaus isn’t quite sure he appreciates it being common knowledge, really.
