In a world where humans naturally evolve to having superpowers in their genes, to rapidly increase the chances of superpowers growing for the upcoming unknown disaster that the government awaits---they have implemented a rule where one mutated gene must come in contact with an unmutated gene, in simpler terms---a super powered person can't be with someone who has superpowers, wherein homophobia is much more normalized for the sake of awakening someone's "true potential".
