Here she is again, grand realisation of some feeling or another presumably a few weeks old and she's just… ready to say it. Ready to try and make it happen. Just like that. She's always there, ready to offer a hand or a hug or a kind word or a fucking monumental declaration, all the things that Emily's afraid of.
So maybe it's a little bit of a thrill, when Andy is flustered and panicked and putting every ounce of power back into Emily's hands.

Still chews on her nails and leaves half empty glasses of water all over the house. Still, now, she stays up too late and swears too much and procrastinates putting petrol in the car until she’s down to her last mile. Still finds herself crawling into Bert, trying to crack open her ribcage so she might be able to settle inside. Bert’s her worst bad habit, has been since the day they met.
