Professor Heimerdinger plucked at his handmade banjo’s strings, causing a few discordant notes to scatter in the air. Once his banjo was tuned, he blew a few times into the harmonica strapped around his neck, did a few, strange vocal exercises no human being could ever hope to emulate without some sort of hextech vocal cords, then cleared his throat.
“I dedicate this song,” he said, his voice full of fatherly pride, “to my two former pupils, who also happen to be two of my closest friends.”

Summary
The day that Shouta Aizawa was carried from the USJ in the hero All Might's arms, he realized he didn't hate his coworker after all. While recovering from his injuries, he comes down with a bad case of the Hanahaki disease. Too bad Yagi doesn't see him as anything more than a coworker, which... fair, given how harshly Aizawa treated him up to that point. Aizawa intends to keep the secret of his love disease to his death. That might come sooner rather than later when an untested quirk enhancement results in transporting him to a bizarro world where the object of his affections is a Class S super villain.
Meanwhile, in another universe, the villain All Smite pines for his version of Shouta Aizawa, plotting for the day that he can make the erasure hero his own. But when Shouta is finally in his reach, the man is a withered husk of himself--broken in body and spirit, sick with the flower disease that is killing him for want of love. All Smite devotes himself to caring for this version of Shouta and showing him that he is loved. Even if Shouta cannot love him back.

Jayce stares open mouthed from the doorway of the lab. A man who looks strikingly like Viktor is standing by Viktor’s desk, looking through Viktor’s notes, muttering softly to himself in Viktor’s voice. He’s even using Viktor’s cane. But it can’t be the real Viktor. He doesn’t wear clothes like that and he doesn’t style his hair in that way and he definitely doesn’t wear jewellery.
Except, today, apparently, he does.

And Jayce hasn’t looked at Viktor this way before either. Not openly, at least. He’s appreciated from afar and in his weaker moments maybe let his eyes linger a little too long. But he’s never pushed. If what they’ve been these past few years is all they’re destined to be, it’s more than Jayce could have ever asked for.
