Summary
James doesn’t know why Will ends up back at his place after it all. Cannot for the life of him remember if it was something they agreed on before- when the whole run was purely hypothetical, or if maybe it came after, when he was really able to consider all that Will had done. He thinks about the way Will fell into his arms after arriving at the coffee shop and how all James had wanted to do was get him home, away from the cameras, make sure he hadn’t hurt himself too much, and wonders now if maybe he had fallen too deep into those considerations. Pushed his wistful thinking into his actions. But Will had followed him home, despite his chance to drive back to London with the rest of the crew.
Or James takes Will home and they don't exactly talk about why Will has ran all the way to his home, but they do sort of fuck about it.

Trevor's just trying to take a night to pity himself, let himself wallow in how shitty the season has been, wonder just how much this great fucking slash across his face is going to scar; when in walks Leo. Looking worse for wear, the kid is all but walking melancholy, feeling somehow worse than Trevor himself, and Trevor can't even bring himself to help the rookie. Just lets him in and lies to his face.
“It doesn't get easier, does it?” Leo asks suddenly. He hasn't been in the hotel room long, has only just gotten himself comfortable on the spare bed when he talks, doesn't even have the ability to look Trevor in the eye as he does so.
"It's hard."

Is it before or after it happens that they stop? He can't quite remember. It's a weird mixture of relief and horror, what he feels in the moment.
He always told Dumbledore that something bad would happen if he went back to the Dursley's.
