Instead of his all-loved Crisis City, flourishing and thriving, a dystopian flying fortress housing the city. Its leader, Eggman’s AI daughter, Sage, had conquered the lands. Continuing to take over barren wasteland settlements to expand.
And, with a failed attempt to time travel back in time, it seems like the only way he can fix this is treating the symptoms during its presence.
