Summary
Bella was bitten by a Child of the Moon when she was ten and has been missing, presumed dead for 17 years. She has managed to make do and is now 27, considering reuniting with her still living, still grieving father when she meets the Cullen family. The Cullens have spread out across Washington state doing different things (because going to high school forever is stupid) and are close allies, even friends, of the Quileute shifters and tribe. Invented my own Children of the Moon lore because why not, it's my fic. Slightly changed Jasper's back story because I'm not writing a fic with a proud confederate in it. A modified version of the events from the canon involving James, Laurent, and Victoria are used as the reason the Quileute and the Cullens are on significantly better terms in my story than in the original. Set in 2015. The Volturi are the big bad.
