Summary

The two are allowed to remain at Hogwarts until the year is over and a trial can be arranged over their right to complete freedom when given a second chance to live. It just so happens that this all takes place during Harry and Draco’s eighth year.

So he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion at the taller guy's action.
"Kageyama." He called to get the latter's attention.
Kageyama hummed, carefully putting all the peas on the tissue and wrapping them into a bundle.
"What is it?" he said while switching their plates of fried rice, placing the one with absolutely no peas in front of Shoyo.
Oh.
Shoyo's heart swelled, his inner omega preened at the action of the alpha in front of him. And then, Bokuto's words rang in his head again.
"Hasn't he been courting you all this time?"

Kokichi not dying had caused a rift between Shuichi and Kaito, and he could tell the former resented him for it.
He had the opportunity to fix it now, he thought, as he crawled into the hydraulic press.
Shuichi would have some detective work to do, but it was nothing he couldn’t handle. He was just that impressive, that intelligent, and that brilliant. And it would be so rewarding this time – surely, he’d be so pleased to find that another of his friends didn’t die.
He’d be so pleased to find it was Kokichi instead.

That wouldn’t do.
Saihara took a deep breath to calm his racing heart and carefully flipped through the pages, smoothing out the ones Ouma had crumpled. He could do this.
He stopped flipping when he came to, “New Zealand.” He took a moment to compose himself and plan out his words before stuttering out, “I want to go there and see the Aurora Australis. And k-kiss you under the lights.”
