Naim Cain is the former Preacher's son and Ryan Tucker is the troubled son of a Vietnam war veteran.
Plot loosely follows the album "Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You." Headcanons and characterisations are a blend of my own, from the movie and the album.

Summary
Arsonist Naim Reid is locked up in the psychward of his local hospital. His only visitors are church-approved and vetted by Arlene, who believes his therapist will 'cure' him of his 'affliction.'
Ryan Whelan gets caught with his parents' stolen credit cards and dragged back home, deadset on leaving the moment he turns 18. When he finds out about Naim, he can't resist the urge to see him again.
