Summary
I would have titled this fic "What If", but given the release of the Disney+ show, I decided against it. This is a fix-it fic of sorts, with a few things changed around. First off, Pietro doesn't die in Age of Ultron -- was mostly dead, but as Princess Bride proves -- that is far better than all dead. Secondly, Endgame doesn't happen. When Thor comes to Wakanda in "Infinity War", he goes for the head. However, the deaths of that movie still stand: Vision and Gamora's selves from this universe will not be returning. But because things ended less traumatically on the whole, Wanda had enough support to not lose her mind with grief. That's not to say she doesn't struggle for some time (about a year), during which Pietro helps her realize that a change of pace/scenery is necessary. They decide to take time off from working with the Avengers and answer an ad for roomates. Their landlady is not what anyone expects.
