It almost didn't matter how they made it here. Ona would have missed the train again, found her way to the same scummy bar to wait out the time till the next one. Drank the flattest cider again, leant on the sticky bar top. In this moment she thought she probably would've lived all the worst parts of her life through again, just so long as it ended here in Lucy-Bronze-from-the-Blue-Lion's lap, guiding hands on her hips, a firm thigh between her legs.
