Robotnik is fuming.
His eye twitches as he looks back across the room, back at the source of his irritation. Across the Mean Bean stands Wade, his partner, *his*, behind the counter, ever-so-politely talking to a customer. A customer who has been there for five minutes and forty-two seconds too long, and is very obviously flirting with the man. And Wade knows it too, he's not quite as dense as everyone might be led to think.
OR
Robotnik is not happy when someone tries to take what's his. Perhaps a more obvious mark will do the trick.

"Outside," he answers simply, his smile not even wavering at the sharp tone. Disgusting impertinence.
"What, pray tell, are you going outside for, exactly?"
"The aurora is visible tonight," he says like it explains everything. Not intimidated in the slightest.
"The aurora?"
Stone tilts his head slightly, confused. "The aurora borealis, the northern lights?"

The hand on his chest drops as Robotnik takes a step back, just barely out of his personal space. "Show me."
Stone is blindsided by the demand, his head spinning from abuse and arousal. "I..sir-?" He stammers, trying to get his heavy tongue to cooperate with him.
"Don't play dumb with me, agent." He gestures sharply towards the man's torso, his next words a biting command. "Show. Me. It."
Realization dawns then: the corset. He wants to see the corset.
