He was dark all over, skin an even deeper shade of brown that made him look like liquid honey and bronze, supple yet sturdy. Because this is not about him. It’s not about his insecurities, his fears, weaknesses, his wants, that needs to be wrestled with control Anakin does not feel he has.
This is about his Master, with his Force always coiled around him in a perfect, waxen glaze that he wears like an armor. He stands in the other edge. His Master that has to make a conscious effort opening his white-knuckled grip, out of necessity. This is to say it’s not needed. This is reassurance. This is to say, you don’t have to be afraid of failing anymore.
Because you will have me. I will be here, always. I will belong to you.

Summary
