Leon doesn't seem upset, though, leaning back against the stone baluster with a contemplative look. "Hmm. No, it's okay. Actually, it might solve our problems if people do think that."
"If people think… we're together?" The words feel strange in his mouth, almost expecting to be slapped for even thinking about it, but Leon nods slowly.
"I mean, would save us the trouble of inventing any fake spouses, you know? And this line of work doesn't leave much space for a relationship outside of it anyway. It makes sense, don't you think?"
God, does it make sense. If only Leon knew how often and thoroughly Chris had considered that it made sense. Well, perhaps it's still better he doesn't know. "Yes." Chris's voice comes out raspy, and he clears his throat and tries again. "Yes, it makes sense."

Summary
Kojiro had lost his chance with subtlety—had lost the patience for it, too. Kaoru was dense sometimes, even with his outstanding intelligence, so stuck in his own head he didn't register what was happening outside of it. Kojiro had tried flattery, he’d tried pampering, he’d tried dropping more hints than Kaoru dropped insults, all to no avail.
So now Kojiro had to be blunt.
"I want to have sex with you," he announced, dropping the towel he'd been drying his hair with onto his shoulders. At least now Kaoru couldn't accuse him of not using his big boy words.
After having been together for several months, Kojiro hopes to take the next step in regards to their... bedroom activities. Getting Kaoru to take the hints he drops about his desires is harder than he thought, however, and not for the reason he suspects.

Jason groaned as a blinding light filtered through the window curtains, shining brightly onto his closed eyes. He rolled over to his side, moving closer to the warmth next to him. It had been a long day yesterday. He had finally gotten his casts off, and spent the rest of the day gaining back the mobility in his arms. All the bats had gone through extensive physical therapy multiple times, but that doesn't mean he had to like it.
While it had been weeks since he was first put in the casts, the bat's endless teasing had only increased.
Oh, the dreaded word that started it all. Baby.
