Eden follows the line of Suzie's vision to see—well. That's a ceramic Jesus figurine that has most definitely been chucked against the wall, shattered on the ground. Suzie's clutching at the base of it, a wooden pedestal with Jesus loves you engraved on the side.
She looks around, taking in the sheer amount of random shit scattered in a halo around her sister who is almost certainly having some sort of breakdown. Fragments of ceramic, clothes, books, that clarinet that she always plays way too loud in the middle of the night. A duffel bag.
Oh.

Natasha does not scowl at him, does not show him her strength. She stands, pretty and proper as she is appraised, observed, heavy eyes pressing over her body. She is a doll because that is what they want from her.

With a groan, Mike rolled over. "What the hell?" He asked, brushing his hand under his nose to make sure it wasn't bleeding.
"You stopped in the middle of the sidewalk!" Retorted the person who had crashed into him—a girl with red hair, who carefully inspected her scraped up palms before glaring hard at him. Her knees are scabbed and shins were bruised and her hair was kinda all over the place. Mike had never seen a girl like her before.

A moment, Mike just staring, mouth half-open, pale and horrified. And his hands fly up, scrubbing at his face roughly, desperately, covering his eyes.
