Summary
"Too many thoughts. Too much...sound. Kaveh, I can't think. There's too— I can't—"
"Shh," Kaveh hushes, carding the fingers of one hand through silvery hair. "I've got you. What's your safeword, Haithoomi?"
"Harra fruit." The answer is clipped and strained, but Kaveh doesn't hold it against the other man.
"That's my good boy," Kaveh coos, doling out praise as easily as breathing.

Summary
This isn’t right, he thinks; wants to protest aloud as he struggles against his bonds, against the insatiable hunger that’s coursing through his blood, itching through every filament of his being.
It isn’t right, but it’s necessary, Kaveh thinks—reasons—despairingly to himself. The only way he knows to help, to break this compulsion that continues to overwhelm both their senses, triggered by an ancient curse that had shaped itself into a mass of grotesque vines and tendrils lurking beneath the Ley Lines of the ruins they'd been exploring earlier. The only way he knows to remove the wretched spell that’s now branded into Al-Haitham’s skin, a distorted Dendro mark pulsing brightly over the planes of his lower abdomen.
Kaveh and Al-Haitham run into trouble in the ruins, entrapped in a vicious cycle by an ancient curse lurking beneath the Ley Lines.

Summary
For better or worse, Alhaitham wasn’t left alone with his thoughts for long.
The bright green glow on the wall would’ve tipped off even an amateur. If not that, then the not-so-quiet “Fuck” Kaveh let out after slamming his foot into the wall.
If he didn’t already understand how these dreams worked, he would’ve been worried for Kaveh’s safety.
Lucky for him, this wasn’t real. Kaveh would stay alive as long as Alhaitham remembered that.

Summary
Azar knows that Alhaitham is suspicious of him.
Azar also knows of his less-than-innocent interest in the Scribe. Specifically, his body.
He knows he cannot touch the other without bringing dire consequences.
Well...not without a little...help.

Summary
Calm, composed, and efficient. That’s what Alhaitham embodied whenever things didn’t go according to plan. When he got injured or sick, he always dealt with it swiftly in private. What people don’t know is that Alhaitham hates pain; he has a low pain tolerance. Nobody knows how much of a mess he is.
This time, Kaveh walks in on him after an injury.
