Summary
The Watford Mages welcome a new outside hitter in the 2026 season, Simon Snow. At 6’1”, he averages on the shorter side of front row players, but he’s fierce on the court. His highest level of play was high school, but he was brought on by the new owner of the team, David Magus, his former coach.
Baz Pitch has been reportedly thrown by this decision. His mother, before her untimely death in 2000, had started the team and built it from the ground up. For somebody so inexperienced to join, he has been bothered. He was quoted saying, “To see my mother’s hard work be soiled for the sake of… whatever this is, is disheartening and quite frankly disgusting.”

Summary
At the end of seventh year, Simon Snow catches Baz in the woods with Agatha and can't stop himself from tackling him to the ground.
Unfortunately, the Humdrum chose that exact moment to pull Simon away from Watford and into a dead wood. Doubly unfortunately, the Humdrum decides its better to keep Simon in a tower where he can't cast any magic. And just to top off an amazingly shitty cake, Baz has been dragged along with him.

Summary
The holiday season at WMAC means more stray dogs, and more stray dogs means fewer open kennels. There's only one obvious solution. Simon, the kennels manager (and the sole employee licensed to drive a commercial vehicle), has a job to do: transporting eleven dogs to California with animal behavior manager Baz Pitch as his copilot.
