    Hinata Shouyou is an aspiring musician in Tokyo. He hasn't had the easiest time in following his dream, but he's content with slowly making his way into the music industry. That is, until a new and upcoming band scouts him at one of his small gigs. But of course, nothing ever works out that nicely because the lead singer of the band, Kageyama Tobio, hates his guts.

    Or, the bands are preparing for the upcoming Spring competition in Tokyo. Music was meant to be simple, straightforward. Easy. This, however, was anything but.
