“We went to this arts and crafts class with Alex and Willie,” Reggie explains, taking a step forward, preparing to finally show her whatever he’s hiding behind his back.
Julie briefly thinks back to earlier on the couch, that thing she felt but dismissed as insignificant. What was it? She supposes she’s about to find out, because Reggie’s face lights up as he finally reveals the object and holds it out to her.
“Look what we made!”
“It’s a new dream box!” Luke beams; apparently, he’s incapable of actually letting Reggie have this moment, no matter whose idea it was. “We painted it and everything! And, we took all the stuff out of your old one and put it in here, so it’s all good to go! Right up on the shelf where the old one was.”

“Your stalker’s here,” Alex notes, peering through the curtain at their audience for the night. “I think she made you a cake.”
“Ooh, really?” Reggie pushes past to stick his head out of the wings. Sure enough, Lydia’s standing in the front row in a low cut dress the color of Reggie’s bass, holding a big Tupperware container in the size and shape of a sheet cake. Reggie grins, hoping it’s chocolate flavored, then belatedly remembers to add, “And she’s not a stalker, she’s very nice.”
“She is a little creepy, Reg,” Bobby offers from behind them, sounding like he already regrets contributing to the conversation at all. “I’m pretty sure she figured out where you live.”
“She did not.” Reggie turns around to glare at him, hands still fisted around the curtain leg to hold it open. “I told her where I live, there’s a huge difference.”
“Oh my god, you’re going to get yourself kidnapped,” one of his friends mutters.

Being friends with Reggie is a little like playing the lottery, Alex thinks. Sometimes you hit the jackpot -- Reggie’s the most faithful friend ever, the most caring, ride-or-die person Alex has ever known. He’s empathetic; he wants all his friends to be happy. He’s a peacemaker; whenever Alex and Bobby are going at it, Reggie’s right there, coming up with the solution.
But sometimes, being friends with Reggie means getting yourself into situations that you would have never expected. And, for Alex, this is usually stuff that makes him wish he was at home, in bed, asleep, miles away from whatever the hell he’s been dragged into. Because Reggie doesn’t like to do anything alone . He thrives in a group setting, so that means Alex, constantly having to get involved in whatever dumb situation that Reggie got sucked into.

This story is also sort of based off of 'Eight drink Amy' from Brooklyn Nine-Nine because honestly one of the greatest shows ever, and also because that is an amazing long running joke that reminded me of a headcanon that I wanted to alter and then use.
Lily knew how to throw a party.
Of course, she'd been to so many lavish and extravagant events in her lifetime she was bound to pick up a thing or two. Lily took it upon herself to organise every event in her friends' lives, big or small. This is how the disaster of Anya's birthday had started.
