Summary
Sometimes you only need a silver lining in the bleak of the night to have something to live for.
After having the plague, for Tony it’s the support of his godfather and Brad’s suggestion to turn his experience into something good.
Seems like working on his doctorate changes many things for Tony, including having the strength to stand up for what he wants and believes in.Bookmarked by stagelizard

Summary
The Lt. Colonel was tall, the Marine uniform was flawless, as was the honey blond hair tied into a strict bun. The gaze from green eyes was scrutinizing, estimating, and testifying to a character one better didn’t mess with. Normally, Jack would have had some things to say about the by-the-book appearance of the Marine; if he hadn’t read the new squad leader’s file. Antonia J. Paddington had been sent to a military academy at the age of 12 and had flipped her father the proverbial bird.

Summary
It was clear that Ziva wouldn’t let go of her anger after Rivkin’s death and Gibbs was more worried about her feelings than the health of his SFA. Vance offered DiNozzo an out from the sticky situation, thinking he would profit all around with that manoeuvre. In the end, Tony finds an unexpected path that will take him to the stars.

Summary
Jack O’Neill’s promotion to Homeworld comes with headaches and a great big heaping of WTF. He needs an investigator yesterday, and since he’s already got enough headaches, he refuses to add more in the form of another attempt to work with AFOSI so figures he’ll try NCIS instead – the Stargate program does have lots of Marines, after all. His foray to the Navy Yard nets him two, because while he may have originally been looking for only one, there is no way he is leaving behind the man that disappeared after saving him in Iraq. Tony is not pleased with his past catching up to him but finds he might just forgive Jack O’Neill when their crossing paths gives Tony what he’s always wanted most.
