July, 1985
10 years after her family's sudden departure from South Korea, Menoa Conti returns as an assistant to a photojournalist working a collaborative story with an investigative journalist colleague. While interviewing Bang Chan, leader of a local gang known as the Stray Kids, Menoa is caught up in a massive conspiracy. As Menoa navigates Seoul's criminal underworld, she helps Bang Chan unravel the mysterious origins of a project known only as Domino.
*As of 5/26/26 this story is under heavy revision with the intent to add better historical context and characterization to the story. The plot may not change much with these revisions but I highly encourage anyone who has already read this story to re-read the earlier chapters.

Four years later, Chan lives a normal life as a creative designer in Sydney while Stray Kids is an international success. He's been trying to leave the memories of the time with them in the past. He's failing.
