All of a sudden, Daemon looked down at himself. “I’m sorry, I’m tracking in water. I need to change out of these clothes.”
“Hm. Rain?”
“Yeah,” Daemon replied with a huff, then sniffled. “I could barely see the Tear.”
Or: Daemon truly thinks he’s just tired. Nathan is there to tell him otherwise. A sickfic, because Daemon is the perfect unwilling candidate and it gives me ample material to write warrior interactions.
