Valentino's eyes narrow slyly over his smile. "If you aren't scared, why do you need a warning?"Vox has everything under control in his new business partnership with benefits. When Val offers an invitation to a special show he's performing, Vox knows it's a dare, and knows he has to take it, show Val that he can't be scared or destabilized.

Vox…is in trouble.
He’s been in trouble for a few hours now, if he’s being honest. It’s only the past thirty minutes, though, that he’s gotten desperate enough to be forced to acknowledge it to himself. And he doesn’t want to acknowledge it to himself! Who would, in his position? Vox, upstart overlord, just invited to his very first overlord meeting...and it wasn't even Alastor that swung him the invite! It should be the highest he’s ever felt!
Trouble is, he can't find the fucking bathroom.
