Summary
Sometimes, on his early shifts when he starts at six a.m and the guy comes in at six thirty, like a whirlwind with a dirt streaked face or a bloody lip or a black eye, but ordering his coffee like he doesn’t look like he just got into a car crash, Ian thinks he hallucinates him. This little guy can’t actually exist out there in the world, right? He’s not actually part of society, is he? Surely, this angry asshole only exists in Ian’s diseased mind?
Or in which everything is about the same, except that Ian Gallagher and Mickey Milkovich meet each other a little later in life - a little more mature, a little more stable - and manage to make a million mistakes anyway.

Everyone knows that the house at the end of Trumbull has magic.
A reimagining of seasons 1-5, in a world where the mysterious Milkovich matriarch was a modern middle-of-the-city witch who passed the tricks of the trade in to her two youngest children. While their world falls down around them, Mandy seeks solace in the family gift while Mickey rejects the notion that he is anything other than Terry Milkovich’s son. This is not a crash course in crippling power; it's series of snapshots into the way that taking the long way around doesn't mean you end up where you started, and that all roads lead home.

Summary
There’s something building, bubbles rolling across frothing water, heat and sound and thick steam curling like an impenetrable wall of humidity over the city. Each time Mickey comes into the store, gives him that predatory look, the rope of tension between them tightens, laden with the tantalizing possibility of more.
For someone so stubborn, Mickey's about as flighty as a deer. The slightest threat of a kiss, even Ian looking at his lips for a second too long, always has him bolting.
