Summary
Xun Guan looked at his weakened body, heavy breathing, the way his eyes were open yet so far away from the world.
"Jiang Cheng," she called. Why did she do that? What made her think he would want to be around her?
She had killed his father. Of course he hated her. If he woke up now, realised who had come to see him, he would try to choke her.
But he had lost his golden core. And he was dying.
Without a second thought, Xun Guan pressed her lips firmly against his, letting her spiritual energy flow steadily into him.
