All Simon ever wanted was to live a normal life. He accepted years ago in prison that he would die there. At least he got to live. Besides the occasional new inmates trying to pick a fight with him, it was decent.
But when a mysterious woman named Dr. Ava offers him a chance at freedom, he takes it. All he has to do is poke and prod at some alien sample from a distant moon. It sounded easy enough.
Now he was on SHIELD's most wanted list. Every agent in the city was looking for him. That included the cities resident Star-Spider, who definitely wasn't told what Simon looked like under all the alien goo.

It's so good, like so good that there are spelling errors and I cannot bring myself to care because I'm having such a great time reading!!!
This is coming from a person who unfortunately has had to put down several previously enjoyed pics because I could not focus because all I could think about was the typos. Yes, I am irrational, I am aware: but in this case it speaks to why you should at least try this fic!!
The spelling errors disappear anyways in later chapters :)
