They bring her no letter. Of course they don’t. Jinu, as well as all the other demons, is gone. Gwi-Ma is defeated, Rumi thinks happily, and tells Mira and Zoey as much. They politely ignore the strain in her voice, the way her eyes gloss over when fans ask what was between her and Jinu. They ignore the way she never seems to want to celebrate.
Rumi cries in her room, and Nunu sniffs her tears when he visits

Let it never be said Rumi didn't love Derpy and Sussie. The animals were a constant around the Huntr/x penthouse, enough that Mira joked about them being her kids.

“I don’t know how, Rumi. Maybe it’s visible to the people who have known that you’re half demon? Anyways, the fewer people who see, the better. You might love sharing, but I’m not very keen on it. Especially this sight, it should only be reserved for a special few.” His eyes turned darker as he spoke, gently tracing the marks on her hands with his fingers.
Her face was a bright shade of red now, but she didn’t dismiss his touch. Instead, she reverted to the topic at hand. “Okay, so tell me, how did you meet them again?”
