"That’s what’s been bothering you all this time, then?” Soobin asked against the skin of his neck. “Age?”
The smug, cooing edge in the alpha's voice rubbed him the wrong way, and oh, how he wanted to beat some sense into the alpha.
“Listen, pup,” Yeonjun gritted through his teeth instead, holding onto the edge of the table to refrain himself from actually punching Soobin’s pretty face and tuning out the alpha's scent to keep an edge to his voice, “I’m not sure if you know how it works, but the older I get, the harder it’ll be for me to give you an heir.”

Summary
Every time Soobin has his eyes on him, Yeonjun feels like he’s made out of a thin, opalescent glass. Completely fucking transparent. The waves crash behind them, in and out, whoops and hollers of rowdy youth, the heat radiating off the fire, suffocating. Soobin’s eyes look right through him.
He can feel his heartbeat, strong and fast against his ribcage.
Another lollipop.
A moment of silence, and then, “What flavor?”
He watches the flames lick up the logs in the pit, slowly eating away at their casing.
“Strawberry.”
(OR: Yeonjun is forced back into his hometown after being kicked out of university and a brief stint in rehab only to find that the boy he used to bully in high school grew up into everything he's ever needed)

Summary
Life was a question mark to Choi Soobin. He had never questioned the ways of fate, but he liked to disagree with the way things went. Desperate to run from his hurt, Soobin fled. Away from all he knew, all he really wanted was to heal.
