“I’m so sorry,” Joshua says, rolling himself up into a sitting position. His limbs still feel heavy and slow, following his brain’s directions half a second behind the beat. The muscles in his shoulders feel stretched out, unknotted. Languid. It’s the unfamiliar feeling of having slept for as long as your body needs to sleep. “I didn’t mean to do that.”
Joshua cannot sleep, unless he's in Minghao's bed. It's kind of ruining his life.

Summary
Chan gives her a wide smile before gathering her pink hair into a ponytail and then situating her crop top so that more of her stomach was exposed like the dancer in the video. Minghao’s eyes follow Chan intently as she walks Minghao through the steps. Soon, Minghao is behind her, following her steps and swaying along with the beat. Minghao ghosts her hand over Chan’s body, not quite making contact, not sure if she can handle knowing what that feels like.
Chan takes the leap for her, grabbing her hand and pushing it against her stomach, just like she saw in the video.
“It’s ok, unnie, you can touch me,” Chan says, making eye contact with Minghao in the mirror. Her eyes are playful as she says it, as if her words have a double meaning. Minghao watches her cheeks heat in the mirror, the flush doubling down when she realizes Chan can also see just how much the words affected her.

Minghao opens the door, and into Joshua's apartment steps someone who is, unfortunately, ridiculously hot.
Tall. Broad. Warm smile that lights up his whole face. The world’s best canine teeth. He takes his shoes off like he belongs there. Immediately kisses Minghao hello. Then turns to Joshua and grins.
“Hi! I’m Mingyu. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
Joshua forgets how to breathe.
Thirty minutes later, Mingyu is doing pushups in Joshua’s living room with two five-year-old on his back. Minghao is sitting cross-legged on the rug like nothing is wrong.
Joshua is holding a baby. Covered in glitter. And very possibly in love.

Jisoo's heart was pounding. She could feel it in her throat, her temples, the space between her legs. She had done this before. This exact conversation and she had promised not to run while already planning an exit.
"Pick one," Jeonghan said again, forcing Jisoo to meet her eyes.
She opened her mouth, closed it, and opened it again. The words were right there, she just needed to willow them out, Say "I want you." Say "I've always wanted you." Say "I'm sorry I chose a company over you. I'm sorry I keep leaving. I'm sorry I'm going to do it again." Say something. Anything.
"I want you," Jisoo whispered.
Jeonghan's eyes darkened and then she pressed her thumb further with a light force, "Then have me."

Summary
Because Joshua never got like this. Not in front of anyone as of late. He was always so soft spoken (other than when he argues with Seungcheol and Seungkwan), and almost always kept himself in check. And yet here he was, still reeling from the aftereffects from the recording buzzed, flushed and grinding into Minghao’s lap like it was the only thing tethering him to the earth.
So, Minghao decided to indulge him. A little. Maybe for his own sick satisfaction as well.

Joshua’s eyebrows raise when he realizes who it is. He blinks. “Mingyu,” he says. “I thought you were out with Jeonghan. He’s not home yet.”
All reason promptly leaves Mingyu’s mind. He never came up with the best way to put it, anyway. Didn’t figure out how to ask. So, he just lets his body lead.
“I thought about it,” Mingyu says, leaning against the door frame, cheeks hot from his jog, breath uneven. “I think we should have sex.”
(OR: Mingyu gets over a one-sided heartbreak by getting laid. He's a lover, not a fighter.)
