Shinsou meets someone.

Hinami sighs. She sees the invitation to look for what it is and glances next to her, then turns her head.
…It's her.
It's her. In a hero suit. One that looks way too similar to her prototypes for it to be a coincidence, and– and her hair is shorter, tied back, her chest is flat, her face has stubble on it, and scars, and fucking stubble–
“Hey,” The stranger says with a slightly crooked smile and an awkward wave. She looks amused, though. Amused and anxious and awkward. None of this looks right, her brain insists, but then there's a small little incomprehensible part of her that screams yes. It's perfect. She's perfect.

The next day, Kris and Noelle don’t come to school. Toriel has a frantic, hushed conversation with Ms. Alphys out in the hallway before pulling Susie out there to ask her about the festival and stuff. Susie tells the truth: Kris wanted to talk to Noelle at the lake, Susie went off, when she came back they weren’t there and probably had gone home. Toriel frets and says nothing and keeps saying nothing even when Susie, some sort of fear seizing up in her gut, asks, are they okay?
Three days later they find the bodies.

Noelle never thought of herself as someone that could get cheated on. And Susie is such a good girlfriend. She says I love you, she says, you’re so pretty, she steals Noelle ice cream and doesn’t let her pay the vendor back. And maybe that’s why it took Noelle so long to notice.
