“You know what Eddie?” Buck sighs. “I don’t need this negativity. You’ll be glad I’m planning when we get to Paris and you get to see things.”
He watches Buck leave, phone still in his hands, and shakes his head.
“What’s this about?” Hen asks.
“We’re going to Paris for the Olympics. For work.”Or the one where Eddie and Buck are sent to the City of Love by the city of Los Angeles for the Olympics.

Summary
Buck and Eddie had been luckier than most enlisted soldiers - after meeting at basic training, they were stationed at the same base, and had been in the same unit ever since. Buck had been there through everything; from their first deployment to Eddie's divorce, supporting him in war zones or at home with Christopher.
