Silence followed. That usual silence that never fucking helped. Until Moze, surprisingly, broke it first. It hit Jiaoqiu only then that the man had been uncharacteristically talkative since their reunion, despite his awkward approaches. Was he trying to make up for something?
“Would you have attended the ball, were you not in a sulky mood?”
Jiaoqiu would have loved to point out that he wasn’t sulking— not exactly, at least. Such careless wording was downplaying his actual state of mind. But, well, he had more pressing matters at hand. “Mhm,” he hummed. “Perhaps?”
“And do you…” Moze hesitated. “Do you know how to dance?”{ With the loss of his eyesight after the recent events, Jiaoqiu has to re-learn how to do... pretty much everything in his life.
