“Relaxing and letting you take care of things don’t go well together,” Law says, still trying to resist the vulnerability as if Luffy wasn't seeing the mess that he was slowing turning into underneath his hands, as if he wasn't hearing how breathless he sounded with each muffled word.
But Luffy did, all of it. And he wanted more. “Don’t you trust me?”
“Hardly,” Law responds almost immediately, but Luffy knows that's not true, feeling him relax once again.

OR, sometimes, Luffy wants Law to not do anything other than relax and enjoy, wants him to allow his body the luxury of doing nothing but feel. Sometimes, Law wants that too.

“He’s the one you think has haki, right? You were watching him in the fight enough to make a coordinated attack, he used me as a guinea pig and mouthed off to you. All within two days of knowing him.”
“What does that have to do with anything?”
Kid scoffed and rolled his eyes. “How many years have we been together, you think I don’t know my best friend’s type? You like someone that can keep you on your toes, that can keep things interesting.” He scowled, all teeth and show. “But did it haveta be some scrawny little nobody?”
Four times someone noticed Killer's growing feelings for Penguin and one time he did something about it. And then did something about it.

“Strong enough for Straw Hat, and crazy enough to accept his advances,” another patron mused. “There aren’t many people that can say they’d meet those requirements.”
“It’s pretty much just the Worst Generation, right?” someone else pointed out. Law scowled at his drink and wished Penguin wasn’t such a busybody.
“Makes sense. Those Worst Generation guys all seem pretty close. When they’re not trying to kill each other, anyway,” the bartender pointed out with a shrug. Law had to admit he was right, at least when it came to Luffy. The idea of Luffy dating someone in their exclusive little band made sense to him, too.Or: Five times Law was jealous of Luffy's mystery boyfriend, and one time he realized the mystery boyfriend was Law himself.
