Summary
Sasuke finds himself, somehow, still alive.
So he tries his best to do just that; live. He cooks. He reads. He takes care of the neighbourhood cat. He lays awake, dulls off, wakes up tired. Some nights, he listens to Naruto snoring. And some days, his old friends come over uninvited.

Summary
Naruto goes to a DIY basement show with Sakura for free beer. Turns out the guitarist she’s obsessed with is kinda hot. And really good at kissing. Problem for Naruto: he’s massively closeted. And in a frat.
Sasuke likes music. He does not particularly like getting close to anyone. Still reeling from a recent loss, the only relationship he has any concern for is with his guitar. Now this annoying frat guy he keeps running into is seriously threatening his ability to keep to himself.
__Naruto is in a frat. Sasuke is in a midwest emo band. They fall in love.

Summary
Sasuke’s entire life revolves around a single night. An empty house, blood on the floor, his mother’s body, and Itachi’s voice echoing in his mind until hatred becomes the only thing keeping him upright.
Kakashi knows exactly where that path leads. He recognizes the emptiness, the constant silence, the poorly contained rage, and the precise moment when someone starts to sink.
He promised himself he wouldn’t get attached to anyone. After losing so much, he learned that keeping his distance was easier than carrying the weight of someone else disappearing through his fingers again.
And yet, the more he watches Sasuke, the harder it becomes to ignore the way the weight of the Uchiha clan seems to be destroying him from the inside out. What begins as simple concern slowly turns into something far more difficult to name: a constant presence, half-finished conversations, and a hand that always appears just before the fall.
And as Kakashi starts to take up a place in Sasuke’s life neither of them ever expected, the only truth Sasuke has built his entire existence on begins to crack.
Because if Itachi truly was a monster… why is it getting harder and harder to believe it?Bookmarked by shuvs
