Summary
Jel itches to prove himself as a designer worthy of the Omiata name, so when Magistrate Eshe approaches him with two commissions for the upcoming Bahari Ball, he's beside himself with joy. That is, until he learns one of those dresses will go to a Human meant to attend as a representative when Jel will likely be barred from attending for another year.
He only hopes the Human is worth the effort.
Solise Noronna has one task on her mind—securing a shepp before Kilima Village decides she isn't worth the investment. Now, if only she could make a meaningful connection to make that happen. When Magistrate Eshe announces she will be attending the Bahari Ball as the Human representative, they strike a deal. If Solise can make a good impression at the ball, Eshe will take her on as a shepp.

After defeating the Netherbrain, Daphne (Tav) visits Gale in Waterdeep in this canon-compliant, post-game story. A cozy, feel-good romance full of firsts, soft moments, and the love they never had time for—until now.Gale held up a blanket in one arm, and she couldn’t help but smile.
“Thought ahead, did you?” she teased.
“I always think ahead,” he said, stepping closer. “Come here,” he murmured, guiding her down with him as he took a seat.
Daphne settled between his legs, her back against his chest, his arms wrapping around her. The blanket enveloped them both, but more than that, he did—his warmth, his scent, the steady rise and fall of his breath.
And then—
A single, fast-moving light shot up from the ocean, arcing into the night sky in a dazzling silver streak before bursting into a cascade of glittering stars. The first of many.
Daphne felt Gale’s breath against her ear.
“Are you ready?”
She swallowed, her fingers curling against his sleeve.
