"The lighting is a bitch, but the angles are art," Sokka’s voice crackled through the headset, sounding more like a nervous producer than a co-star.
Zuko looked around the room again, though the room was more of a curated vacuum. It was a spartan arrangement of white linens and pale wood, stripped of any personal ornament that might distract from the subject. There were no cameramen in sight—no heavy tripods or buzzing drones—but the air felt heavy with the invisible gaze of a dozen lenses.
"Yeah, I see, it's a good set, but..."
"I know, I know...Ty Lee wants to be completely faithful to the book on which the film is based. So, no allusion. Everything will be real. And I mean, everything."

Zuko and Sokka are actors playing two horny hockey players, and Ty Lee believes that all the scenes must be real. And she means all of them.

The voice sounds from behind him in the dark, and Zuko freezes.
No.
Not just freezes, is frozen, muscles taught and unresponsive as his arms stretch wide, blade clattering to the floor with a cacophonous noise. All of his movements are not his own, and he can’t fight against it at all.
Or: Zuko is sent to assassinate the Moon Spirit, and fails spectacularly. (he doesn't mind though)

He doesn’t hurry his pace, unsure of what he’ll find, and he walks toward a small alley that juts out from the main street.
Crumpled on the ground, back leaning against one of the buildings, is Suguru.

“Yes, I speak Russian,” he snapped, defensive and angry. He knew that it had been a mistake to even try to be friendly with Rozanov. “Why? Do I not look Russian to you?” He scoffed.
“No, not really,” Rozanov said. Some of his teammates laughed, although they mostly looked surprised that Shane was speaking to them at all. Rozanov didn’t laugh, though. “Are you Russian?”
“Go fuck yourself.”

Despite an inauspicious start, when Russia’s Ilya Rozanov learns that Canada’s Shane Hollander is fluent in Russian at their first World Junior Championships tournament, it changes everything and sets them on a different course. Instead of being branded as rivals from the very beginning, Ilya and Shane start off as friends.
