He’s there when he has to be the one to call 911, to perform his closest approximation of CPR, to watch his childhood best friend get loaded into an ambulance, to call Sugar, to somehow make his way to the ER and miraculously not lose his shit until he’s screaming and sobbing in a hospital lobby and being dragged out by a security guard.
