“Look, you two…” Akira sighs, pulling them closer to his sides. “I want the three of us to get along better. I know that it’s not an easy adjustment to make, but I’ve noticed some—” He purses his lips as he considers his next words. “—patterns of behavior between the two of you since I found Akechi again.” At that, he feels Haru stiffen.
Akechi looks up with a suspicious little glare. “What sort of ‘patterns of behavior’?”

Summary
Her already unsteady heartbeat picks up rapidly at the illusion of eye contact. On the screen, Akechi stretches, arching his back with intention in an exaggerated curve that highlights the dip of his small waist into his ass, covered by his neat slacks. When he opens his eyes again, he’s still looking at the camera with an expression that is both smug and disdainful.
Akechi knows about the hidden cameras. And he’s putting on a show for whoever is behind him.
Holy shit, Futaba thinks, rolling forward on her chair as close as possible to the monitor. Her face burns red behind her glasses, creeping across her face and behind the oversized headphones encompassing each side of her head. Tucking her legs up to her chest, she leans in, biting her thumb with intense concentration. Holy shit, he’s giving the camera a strip tease.

Futaba finds the hidden cameras in Akechi's apartment. Akira finds Futaba watching Akechi. What follows after is an arrangement beneficial to the both of them—at least, that's what she thinks at first.

Summary
Armand shifts so his stillness will not be noticed, arching back in Lestat’s lap. He takes Lestat’s right wrist, licks along the would-be pulse point.
Slipping into his mind is easier when they’re like this, in the play-act of being unguarded and vulnerable. Lestat, for all his bravado and desperate affection, has a consciousness he locks down with a many-toothed key. Armand knows how to pick all the locks.
Feral, am I? He croons, teasing the seed of the idea out, digging for the roots. Tell me more, wolf.

Summary
Lestat de Lioncourt has a lot to worry about right now: an impending world tour, a freshly raw relationship being reknit between him and Louis, and a journalist up his ass everywhere he turns. He hardly has enough time to breathe, let alone take care of another creature. Adding a depressed ancient vampire to the mix seems like a recipe for disaster, and maybe it is. But Lestat's handled worse, hasn't he?
And besides, you know what they say: there's no better way to get over your ex than with your ex's ex (who is also your ex).
