yoongi could remember hoseok looking back, beckoning him to join him by the shore. yoongi had hesitated, but stepped into the water, which lapped eagerly at his feet and ankles. hoseok laughed his loud cackle, with a hiccup or two. they laced their fingers together and sloshed through the wet, gray sand and the water that tried to pull them in. but they wouldn't get pulled in, yoongi knew, because hoseok wouldn't let them get swept away, not with how much they loved each other, not with how much the future had in store for them.

Chloe finds the Bee Miraculous, but instead of finding an obliging, subservient Kwami, she finds the Kwami of Order and Subjugation, and Pollen is not about to let herself be used like Nooroo was.
Granted, the only danger in a teenage girl is the damage she poses to herself. Can Pollen shape Chloe into a hero? Or will she stubbornly refuse to change and remain the bitter, harsh person the city has long since known?

And Marinette kept protesting and pulling and whining and being generally a pest the whole time, until Chloé threw her through the doors to the changing rooms and slammed her into a locker, and put one hand on either side of the baker girl’s head.
“Marinette Dupain-Cheng,” she said, adding as much dripping contempt to her tone as she could muster. But honestly, she was still angry, and it just didn’t come off right. Anger wasn’t contempt, it was — anger.
Marinette shrank. She didn’t try to duck under Chloé’s arms, and she didn’t try to kick or push. Like always, she just stood there like a little wet kitten. “... Are you… are you going to stuff me into a locker again?”

Chloé is upset that Lila is stealing her thunder when it comes to bullying Marinette. Desperate to claw back control over the baker girl, she hatches a plan with Marinette to lie straight back at Lila - because the truth obviously isn't working. When Marinette accepts, Chloé is delighted - but her delight turns to ash in her mouth as she realises that hanging out with Marinette on equal terms is actually more fun than trying to ruin the girl's life.
A Chloé redemption/Lila exposed fic that doesn't salt on anyone.

Summary
Bakugou Katsuki, a man who used to live with no regrets, regrets nothing but Kirishima. There's nothing--nothing--he wouldn't do to save Kirishima now that he knows what he knows.
