With news of an Emperor’s ship making their way towards them on the horizon, Alvida expects the same sputtering, bug-eyed spit-take reaction she’s used to seeing from the clown. Instead, what she gets is Buggy blowing out a deep, aggravated sigh that drags out for a long period, wearing an incredibly sour-faced expression as he glares out at the incoming ship the same way one might glare at a dirty smudge on their glass.

He presses his thumb against the cut on Sanji’s side, hard. Sanji’s yell of surprise withers into a hiss of pain, then a groan shaken from him as deeply as a quake from beneath the earth.
“Shit, fuck, what are you doing?”
Zoro eases off the pressure but doesn’t let Sanji go.
It clicks in some primal part of him, something he’d never have logicked himself to, something Sanji would never have told him.
“I’m giving you what you want.” Like he always does, in the end. Does Sanji even know how often Zoro bends himself around him? Somehow he’d started doing it without even noticing. By the time he had, it had already become second nature.
Whatever Sanji needs, Zoro will give him.

Summary

Neuvillette finds himself inordinately nervous. He has set for this engagement expectations that are, perhaps, too much. When Wriothesley begins acting like a dragon courting his mate, Neuvillette finds himself torn between duty and desire.

It irked Zoro that upon meeting him, a whirlwind of limbs, blue eyes and a cigarette dangling from his cocky smile, something in his gut flip-flopped, instead of the usual, clear feeling he usually got when he met men, like a natural yes/no answer. Obviously, the lovesick fool greatly admired women, ceaselessly shouting his love for them at any opportunity. But he had met many a man like that who still sought to warm his bed- and Sanji was... well, Sanji . His simple existence riled Zoro up like no other. And why does it matter to him what the shitty cook’s preferences are anyways?

Zoro secretely learns French to understand Sanji. Because that’s obviously the easiest way to learn if the cook likes men.
