Summary
Dr. Trinity Santos is locked in a quarantine chamber with a fatal, unknown infection—and no cure in sight. Outside the glass, colleagues come and go, but only Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi chooses to stay inside with her, sealed in a hazmat suit and held at a distance she can’t cross.

Summary
This is the thing about domestic moments, Trinity thinks, watching her do it. They don't announce themselves. You don't even realise they are significant in real time, not usually at least. It is just that additional box of pasta, but underneath it – the asking of opinions on seemingly negligible things.
She had grown up in an environment where ordinary moments had an expiration date. A house in which the quiet that was once so calming and serene would turn without warning. She had learned early on to not lean into the good stretches too long and hard, because leaning in made it worse when they ended.
And she is still learning how to just – let things be good.
She is working on it.
They turn past the condiment aisle, past a small kid strapped into a cart seat that regards Trinity with the frank, unblinking suspicion of a toddler and who Trinity instanyly decides should probably be home sleeping and come around into the next stretch of the store.
And that is when she sees them.

Summary
“If I let go of her you’re going to kill me! You’re going to experiment on me like she tried to do”
His voice is hysterical, his eyes are shifting around the room, looking through the windows. It's clear he can see McKay and Whittaker, who look ashen and worried, peering in through the window Garcia was just at. She tries to get into his headspace, understanding things from his delusion—that there’s a bunch of doctors he doesn’t recognize crowding a room, waiting to experiment on him; but then her eyes get stuck on Trinity’s limp form, chest sticking out, hair pulled up, scalpel to her neck and this white hot anger takes over any thought, compassion, or empathy. She wants nothing more than to burst through that door and beat the man off of her girlfriend.
or
A patient has a psych break and knocks Trinity unconscious, barricading himself into Central 6. Yolanda, Robby, Dana, and Whittaker are forced to watch helplessly as the patient holds her hostage. I dive into each of their headspaces throughout the piece, as they each come to realize how much they love and care for the now unconscious resident.

Summary
Dana had known since Cassie started her residency at PTMC that eventually they would end up exposing their relationship. She just didn't imagine that, after a difficult morning and a lack of communication between her and her wife, they would end up becoming the center of The Pitt's betting. And even less how her day would unfold from there.
Or, the one where PTMC places bets to figure out what the hell is going on between Dana and Cassie.
