An unlit cigarette rested at the corner of his mouth, and silver earrings swung gently from his ears, catching the faint light of the overcast sky. A thick, dark scarf was wrapped snugly around his neck, and in one hand, he held a neatly folded blue umbrella.
"Yeah," San mumbled. "I thought the rain would wait."
"It never does." The stranger smiled gently. "If you want… take mine."
San blinked, momentarily caught off guard. "Really?"

San's hands came up in front of him, stopping mid motion of straggling a pretty phantom neck. "The fuck are you on about?"
Wooyoung smiled serenely. "You know when I was a teenager I spent a lot of time wishing for vampires and werewolves to be real—big fan as I said. The grimoire I found on ebay said nothing about this time delay in the spell's effectiveness though…" He trailed off at the end, appearing to consider this seriously, perhaps contemplating whether he should write the seller a belated review and torment them instead.
San was genuinely baffled, lingering fury subdued as he processed all of that. "You…you bought some kind of fake hocus pocus book of ebay?!"

Vampire Choi San's existence spans hundreds of years and he will still claim with absolute confidence that Jung Wooyoung is the most batshit crazy, annoying, high maintenance person he has ever met. Wooyoung gets attacked leaving work and wakes up in a universe where everyone smells, people are trying to kidnap him, and apparently he can get pregnant. Unfortunately for him, that same guy turns out to be Choi San—quiet, handsome, definitely not a drug dealer, and also part of the university theatre club Wooyoung joins for an entirely different reason.
What follows is one misunderstanding after another, a lot of unresolved tension, accidental jealousy, theatre club chaos, one very confusing sexual awakening, and the slow realization that maybe Wooyoung doesn’t want to run this time.
