When Tyco Roth makes the standard decision to take a Delay which stalls his eventual execution, he never expected for an entire new world to be opened up on him. All of a sudden, things begin to get weird. The cell around him seems to break down, and nothing is working like it should. To make matters worse, not even the Warden seems to realize what has been going on. He needs to figure out what’s going on, and he needs to do it fast. Everything keeps on escalating to a point where Tyco isn’t even sure he’s going to make it to the next Delay to ensure he survives. And then one thing becomes painfully clear:
He needs to get out.

Adrien nibbled on his lips, nodding. His stomach churned uncomfortably.
“He’s Shadowmoth.”
Adrien froze, blood turning to ice in his veins. “That’s not funny Felix.”
“I wasn’t joking.”
Felix was smirking, the ring - Mother’s ring - still playing between his fingers. He was looking down on Adrien, a mix of pity and cruelty.
Adrien had never wanted to punch someone more, at that moment.
