Summary
Trinity stilled. The world stilled around her, seconds stretching into eons.
This must be her exhaustion playing tricks on her. A hallucination. Not real. Not happening.
The world, as it always did, came crashing back. It was happening.
First thing she registered was the curls, matted with blood.Bookmarked by rxppslvr

Summary
“What?” Trinity snaps. The word is sharp around the edges, her voice shrill, and she hates it.
Baran doesn’t rear back at Trinity’s tone. She barely even blinks. “What is going on?”

Summary
Trinity had been inconsolable for weeks. Nothing new happened to make her upset, it was just the endless cycle of memories circulating through her brain.
It wasn't always exceptionally bad like this, she usually pushed through by pressing herself into her girlfriends until she felt so compact and safe it drowned out all of her thoughts. Maybe she would isolate from them for one or two days, but she would always show up at their door and be accepted into their arms lovingly.
But this time was different. It was louder, more painful, dizzying. There was a dull pain lingering in all of her muscles, leaving her bedridden for days. She had barely moved the entire day. She hadn't even bothered to call out of work, yet Baran had covered for her anyways. She lay unconsolable in the bed, switching between the ceiling and the wall for hours on end without saying anything to anyone.
OR: Trinity falls into a deep depression while thinking about her past and comes to her girlfriends to cheer her up.

Summary
You always remembered the day your life flipped upside down.
It wasn’t one big dramatic explosion or some fate-changing speech. It was simpler than that—two women standing in front of you in a quiet office, both looking like they had rehearsed what to say a hundred times but forgot all of it the moment they saw you.
One of them had a platinum-blonde bun that was barely holding itself together, a hoodie that probably cost more than your monthly rent, and eyes that looked like she felt everything all at once.
Renee Rapp. The other had black hair falling across one eye, a guitar case slung over her back like a second spine, and a smirk that was half nerves and half excitement.
Towa Bird. And together, they were the couple who wanted to adopt… you.
