The duty of helping the Pharaoh restore his memories, to end the 3000 year struggle. To face Atem in the ceremonial duel.
The story continues, but an unforeseen consequence of the ceremonial duel has a profound affect on Yugi's soul. Something that neither Yugi or Atem could have predicted. Yugi is left to try and pick up the pieces, to rebuild himself in the aftermath. Atem is left with a dilemma, knowing that his choices will lead to lasting consequences for both of them. Those choices will extend beyond solely themselves, with an unforeseen equation coming into the fray, complicating everything for Yugi.

Kitten was one of the fics I published on FF.net in 2019 and thanks to the wonderful help of Jofisk, I can now publish it on AO3 again.
WARNING! This story has very clear depictions and descriptions of torture, mutilation and death. There is blood, gore and more in this fic so please, I beg you: read at your own risk. Atemu basically doesn't care. If you go against him or touch Yami, you die a most horrible death and he kills people through whatever means I was allowed to explore in this fic. It is dark, it is not for the weak of heart, but there is also a lot of love in it because both Atemu and Yami are adorable fluffs.
As for a story summary: The Shadow Prince, Atemu Sennen, had many wives. Offerings of peace to please him. Yet, closed doors hide many secrets and the truth is not what it seems.
WARNING #2: this story is also under construction. While I will post chapters due to the story being officially finished, I am trying to rewrite it because I am no longer a 100% satisfied. Just so you know and despite the story being finished, updates may be irregular.
