Summary
“It’s almost impossible to believe,” She murmurs, eyes twitching over him. Pinning. Zeroing in. “All those stories y’hear, sometimes — overlord this, overlord that. It gets old real quick. Y’almost lose track of all of it. But then, not too long after your own death, you hear about the Radio Demon, and he sounds a hell of a lot like your own lil’ boy.”
Much too naturally, Alastor fills in the rest of the gaps. “And then you see him on the picture show.”
Alastor meets his mother in the very last place he ever could’ve expected her to be, forcing him to go down memory lane and contemplate whether to let her back into his (after)life or not.

Summary
Despite himself, Alastor shudders. "I think— I think I must be seeing things. I think you're the most convincing hallucination any person could ever have."
"A hallucination! Could you imagine!" She shakes her head with air-piercing laughter, wide hat swaying with the movement. "I can assure you, dear, whether I'm real or not is arbitrary. What you must know, really, is that I exist."
"I'm seeing things," He repeats once more, less with conviction, more as a self-assurance.
A young Alastor meets Rosie earlier than he was supposed to.

Summary
“You,” He says simply, running a hand through Alastor’s hair, wary to keep him in place. He’d rather not get his wrists bitten so soon after his greatest victory yet. “Do not get to speak to me that way. If it wasn’t clear enough already from last night, Alastor, you are beneath me.”
Already, in the air, he can hear it again. If I’m so beneath you, why bother talking to me like this at all? Why beg for morsels of praise like a common mongrel?
After the rally, Vox tries to indulge himself in some well-earned and proper worship. Key-word: tries.

Summary
It was a fact that Alastor was incapable of existing in the same room – or even the same house – as Husk without initiating some form of physical contact on a constant basis.
Husk swore it wasn't what it fucking looked like. Too bad nobody ever believed him. Alastor actively stroking his chest fur as he made the claim probably didn't help his case.

Husk has been slacking at his bartending duties lately, and Alastor soon learns why. The lousy drunk has been wasting his time writing love poetry! Badly!

In 1933 Alastor manages to summon a demon with a rectangular, glowing head who keeps staring at him like he can't decide between tearing him apart and worshipping him at his feet.
Meanwhile, Vox just blew up himself and the entire universe and suddenly stands before a second chance. He simply has no idea what that second chance entails.
In other words: The demon Vox and human Alastor time travel roadtrip fic that spiralled and suddenly gained a plot
