Summary
I romanticize the Victorian era because it’s fun and the lack of modern day technology makes it easier to build conflict :^}
These descriptions may not fit every single fic in this series, but here’s some imagery I want you to think of when going into these stories:
❧ Fog hovering just above the surface of a still pond
❧ A finger being pricked by a thorn, a thick droplet of blood running down a white rose
❧ Flickering lantern light illuminating a cobblestone alleyway
❧ The smell of candle soot streaming from a dozen votive candles
❧ A non-operating stone fountain overtaken by vines and wildflowers
