Summary
Tom had always considered it particularly petty on Albus Dumbledore’s part in assigning Tom to be the one to introduce muggleborn first years to Hogwarts. He was sure that Albus thought it was some sort of teaching moment, exposing Tom to muggles repeatedly as though he’d gain some sort of empathy and moral epiphany whenever he met a half-decent parent.
However, it didn’t matter how many muggles he met or how many of them actually tried to be a decent parent to their magical children. There were more failures than successes, more broken homes and troubled children than not.
And it seemed to be getting worse every year.

Summary
Percy Jackson is done.
Done with quests. Done with prophecies. Done with gods who treat survival like a favour and freedom like a luxury.
So he runs.
Gotham City is far enough from Olympus that even the gods hesitate to look too closely and strange enough that Percy can almost convince himself he’s just another student trying to get a degree and stay out of trouble.
It doesn’t help that he can’t really smell properly anymore. Tartarus made sure of that. Instincts come in broken pieces now, like someone handed him a map with half the ink missing and expected him to navigate anyway.
Which makes Gotham extremely confusing.
Because people keep… doing things.
Standing too close. Touching his shoulder. Leaving jackets. Looking at him like he belongs somewhere near them.
And occasionally - very occasionally - someone tries to scent-mark him.
With ascension looming over his shoulder, three very confusing alphas, and one cute clone that he knows he shouldn’t feel anything for, Percy’s plans to stay out of trouble start falling apart around him.
Percy came to Gotham to disappear.

Summary
Starts during seventh year when the golden trio is captured and brought to Malfoy Manor.
- Ron has been ignoring the fact that Harry and Hermione have been acting more and more strange, assuming it is the stress of constant travel and danger.
- Hermione has been experiencing weird cravings and feelings lately, but research options are limited on the run and so far all she has managed to figure out is that she is not pregnant, and it could possibly be a creature inheritance coming in. Being adopted as a baby sadly means she has no idea what type of creature if so.
- Harry keeps finding himself sneaking into Hermione’s bed at night, curling up next to her as she cocoons them with pillows and blankets. He figures they can ignore it for now, as long as Ron doesn't find out. It is after all the only way he can sleep.As Luna takes actions so Harry has to watch Hermione get tortured by Bellatrix, Hermione does her best not to scream and give Bella the satisfaction of weaponizing her against her best friend. Hermione eventually breaks, the pain and pressure becoming too much, letting out a loud and piercing sound as something within her cracks. Who will answer her soul scream? And what happens to Harry?
