Charles had thought that since the other boy had brought up the subject it couldn’t have been that sensitive to him, but maybe he had misread the situation. “You don’t have to answer that. We could just pretend this whole conversation never happened and talk about something–”
“No, it’s fine, you told me about yours, it’s only fair that I share as well. I, um, I also don’t have a soulmark,” Edwin was running his hands along his clothes, searching desperately for something to smooth out, his usual composure gone. “You’re the only other person I’ve ever met without one.”
The boys stared at each other for a minute before a smile broke through Charles’ face. “Mate, do you know how brills this is?”
“I– What?”
(Or, Charles and Edwin aren't soulmates, but they chose each other, so their souls still fit together anyway)

After he had finally gotten out he had sworn that he would never, for any reason, return, especially not alone. Yet here he was, walking down the cold white hallway, alone, having, once again, said awful things to the demon. He had said awful things to Aziraphale in return and the Angel didn’t know which one hurt more. He was trying not to think about it. He had come to Heaven, really crawled back, like the Metatron said he would that one fateful day, years ago, all alone again. He hadn’t felt loneliness like this since the Beginning, because, at least last time, he knew that there was still a bookshop and, after some time, someone who loved him waiting for him back at home."

"Dick was tired. He had been tired for a long time, long enough that he couldn’t remember when he hadn’t been tired. Everyday he had the same schedule. He woke up too early, some time around ten, after too little sleep, to go teach his gymnastics class. Tuesdays and Thursdays it was beginners at two, then intermediates at four. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday it was his advanced classes at two and three and his older beginners at four. On Sundays he had his adult class at five. Then, he would go home, take a quick dinner, maybe catch up with some friends, before returning home to change before going out at nine. He usually crawled home at three in the morning which meant that he got into bed around four or five, usually stiffer than he would have liked."

Shane and Ilya aren't outed, but they're still planning to get married in July and now have to tell the people they care about that they're together and getting married.
Ilya told Marleau and Troy face to face, and made a funny joke about just showing up to camp and acting like everyone had always known, because just telling his best friends had given him so much anxiety he'd nearly been sick.
Except Shane hadn't thought it was a funny joke. Shane thought it was a GREAT plan. It probably needed a dry run at the Kingfisher first.
